I couldn't resist taking a picture of a few yummies from the garden! The striped tomatoes are called Speckled Roman. They are meaty and great tasting to boot. Speaking of tomatoes, the Green Step from Garden's Alive arrived yesterday. Watch out Tomato Worms, you are in big trouble now!

My husband is back at school, as a high school physics teacher, at an all-boys Catholic school. I miss him already. Once we cleaned out the closets, and his office, he moved into my office, now our office. It was nice to have him in this space, okay, most of the time. What was especially wonderful was to feel like I had an ally here to help. And help he did. He made the graphics for one of my projects, that's still in beta. Check it out at: http://www.writersadventureguide.com.

I have to say that this is one gal who has discovered a great niche market!
This week's Treat is Crystal McCoy creator of Jakey BB Uniquely Handcrafted Doggie Beds!
And what better for man's best friend than a custom designed bed and/or toy box that's hand-made? You would be hard pressed to find a bed for your pooch that's made with such love and attention to detail at a big box store!

Move over turtles. They are bad, sort of green (just their heads) and they like to quack ‘n party ‘til dawn. It’s the TMPD! There’s been some funny business going on in the Duck House!

I thought it was an innocent game of King o’ the Pool. I wrong! One of the drakes will chase out all the other ducks except one female. Then I noticed the male grabbing onto the female’s neck. Yup, I caught them red-beaked in a game of hanky-panky in the pool. I’m sure the rooste… Continue

I was sitting by the side of life’s road. It seemed others were zipping along with a sense of direction and purpose that suddenly eluded me.
I was parked. I didn’t like it. I felt confused. I felt turned inside out. I had to accept it. Parking (or stillness) is our opportunity to re-evaluate, tweak, and receive inspiration. I tried a few times to push my way back onto the road. It’s too hard to stay still. I had some pretty clear-cut directions I wanted to head in. Now I found myself not so sur… Continue

My friend Annette asked me to create the "Studio Bee".
"What's that?" you ask.
It's a reminder for a friend of hers of his "bee" experiences in the studio at the radio station. During the last encounter, he chose to use a clipboard as his weapon. Needless to say the clip board won.
Without further ado here is Studio Bee!
There has been quite a bit of activity in the yard.
Mr. Fungus Amungus stopped in for a visit and decimated my gourd crop. I didn’t want him to spread his particular brand of love in the soil so all the plants went into the burn barrel. The funeral pyre was a site to behold and many tears were shed in honor of the brave gourd plants.

It’s easy to get caught up in the daily routine of life. I’ve certainly been guilty of it. I didn’t realize how much time I was spending in my own head. It’s easy to do when it’s just the dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, gourds and you for most of the day. Thoughts would run and skip about. Some I’d catch and hold onto while others I’d let float away.
I decided to step away from those thoughts. Instead, I focus on what I’m doing and how I’m doing it. That includes moments of not-doing. Anything tha… Continue

The little ducklings were backordered. T. Bear was so disappointed! Lucky Farmers is going to contact the hatchery and let us know when to expect them. Perhaps they didn't hatch in time for the shipment. Maybe they made a mad-dash for freedom and are hiding with the duck underground. I haven't told the chickens they are getting new yard mates yet. I like the element of surprise. Besides that, it's fun to keep those persnickety chickens on their toes. That is a site to behold!

Pure Unconditional Love is the most powerful vibration, force, Energy, in the entire Universe, in all spheres of life and reality. Without the all-pervading power of Unconditional Love the entire Universe could not and would not exist. If Unconditional Love where to be withdrawn, the entire Universe would collapse in an instant.

The Lessons and Meaning of Life
Each and every physical life on Earth is can be likened to attending The Kindergarten of the Universe, in a learning process that never ends until the end of the path to our Divine Creator is finally reached at which time the full meaning of life will be realised.
Even when the cycle of physical reincarnation on Earth has been transcended and the student progresses to the primary school of life, the path ahead back to our Divine Creator is long, but much more t… Continue

How could I NOT make them? They crack me up! I laugh when I see them sitting in row, bald headed and waiting for their hairdo. And I can't for the life of me replicate a hairdo exactly. Each faerie seems to dictate her unique "do". Then of course it's great fun when someone calls on the phone.

Been thinking lately abou appreciating the journeys we take. Kind of like being more aware of the fun in getting there instead of the end result. I really believe that we are continually evolving and growing in many directions. So much of life is taken for granted that as I drive to and fro work during the week - I am constantly trying to notice the wonder of all things. And when I am in the particular state of being here now - things do happen. The other morning I stopped at the 7-11 on my way… Continue

We waited for 45 minutes in the waiting room. This is normal for my OB/GYN. She’s a one-doctor show. I’m always amazed how she balances her time between the office and attending to births. Ascension Practices: The 144 Crystal Earthkeeper Grid

“The CT-Scan shows you have a lump that is 10.4 cm X 14.4 cm X 12 cm. It appears to be coming from about the middle of your uterus.” My doctor informed me in a kind gentle voice. “When we see something like this it causes some concern.”
I informed him that I have a history of fibroids.

A few weeks ago I experienced urinary retention. In other words, I could only pee a wee bit (pun very much intended) or not at all. That first episode resolved itself and I went about my merry way.
Now fast-forward to Sunday, the 9th. I was at a friend’s house and started to experience retention again. That night I was up just about every hour using the toilet. I figured it was time to call my doctor and that’s exactly what I did the next morning.
